Lessons in Managing Emotions
I'm missing the point here. By looking at the world like it's a flat piece of territory which can be understood linearly, is completely wrong.
What you see, is what you think you see. Everyone operates out of their own personal mental buckets. The hack is to understand that each of our visions of reality are only partially accurate. We don't know which part is accurate but we do know that he saying parts of the brain make us feel good/bad consistently.
Are both the options fair, accurate ?
