Finding The Perspective
Pile them on.
Before you first try to create an artificial reality in your head, believe that the story will sound right. Don't bother about how shallow you feel telling yourself the story right now, as things happen over a few hundred or maybe thousand or maybe even more, you'll see the ideas gradually emerging with greater clarity. And you will be able to articulate it with greater facility.
Let's not get too preachy here. What I want to be doing instead, is to come up here (it's an elevated platform - for a performance), and take quick snapshots, of the drama around me.
Worry and feeling useful is the trending emotion for the moment. Can I develop a better narrative, than this random stream of consciousness or whatever this format can be called.
Does it matter to anyone, what is being written here? The main purpose is for me to get the words out and for you to formulate the feel for developing a narrative, which keeps you engaged and motivated to keep this work continuing and constantly producing content.
It doesn't matter how good or bad it is or even what you are writing. For now, the focus is just to get the words out of your head and out it on the platform. Pile them on.
##Let go of the grip You need to allow yourself to say everything and anything. Nothing is manna. A good way to check if you are censoring the idea, do you feel a tightness in your body? If you keep checking often enough, pretty soon, it'll become second nature and it'll serve you better as a barometer of the inner weather. Also note, just note, how is your breathing. Labeling the feeling and thought could be a good thought experiment.
##Genuine question How can I use these sensations ? Over a period of time, try it out and you can see for yourself, how things begin to develop. You will understand.
Is this person going to help me? How can I spend more time with him and what should I tell him, the next time. Ponder on questions and you'll probably get a better indicator. Ok another question on procrastination, I have a couple of tasks lined up, priority and needs attention. But how can I do justice to both.
Start small and see how far you can go. Open up the laptop and write down what needs to be done and what you can write as a short one line summary. Then expand it, and see how this process goes onward.
Why is the music a required drug? Does it help reduce the friction or provide the levity and smoothness by lulling the brain or rather distracting it with tunes and short memorable licks. The flow of writing is driven by the tempo, but what do I do when I run through a so-so tune, just keep on banging on the keyboard.
So you see, the way I want to do it, is really to, LET THE WORDS RIPpppp. It does not have to be profound profane or perverted. Just enjoy the process of sending out the energy from your body out into the world.
I should view it as that - visualized energy flows. Maybe there would be times, when I need to pull in or suck in more nergy than send outward. That too needs to be handled appropriately.
Go forth and enjoy. That is the only sacred mantra you should be following. For now.
As things evolve, hopefully, you'll develop a style and sense of how to craft and structure the post, and then we can navigate the quality of the content. But till then, you're being officially permitted to write ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING rubbish or not, it's entirely just an experiment in helping you to get unblocked and free yourself from self defined rules and cliches. Just ignore the inner voices and pseed yourself across the page.
Enjoy the journey and hope to see you on the path for much longer.
